Haitian print on canvas signed Whitlock This is a great piece of art nicely framed. I couldn't find any information on this artist Whitlock. But this piece seems to be inspired from another artist named Jean Louisius Bruno. This piece is signed at the bottom right corner Whitlock. On the back it has Whitlock#3 hand written on the back of the frame. I'm not sure what that means. But the canvas does appear to have some age to it maybe at least 25 years the wood hasn't oxidized much. But it does appear to have had a paper backing on it at some point. With all that being said, this is a very cool painting lots of colors going on, it would make a beautiful addition to your home or office art collection. It measures in the frame 17"long by 15" wide. Despite his fame and prolific output, debts forced him to sell off most of his prints and possessions. Bartolozzi died in his studio in 1815 and was buried in the common grave of a Lisbon church.

This is a wonderful vintage piece. Signed photograph. In a nice frame. It clearly shows the iconic Manhattan Hotel. The New Yorker Hotel. I couldn't find much information on the artist,but appears to have been taken sometime in the 1980s time period.
John Haymson- Summer Florals, beautifully framed, silk serigraph print John Haymson was born of a Turkish father and Italian mother in Vienna, Austria in 1902. He discovered his interest in art when at the age of five he took a slate and drew a portrait of the mademoiselle who came to his house each day to teach him and his brother and sister. At age sixteen, in spite of his mother's concern that he would starve to death as an artist, he applied to and was accepted at the world-famed Vienna Academy of Fine Art. He later studied with and subsequently befriended Luigi Kasimir, one of the great master etchers of recent times.
An important period in Haymson's early career was his association with the famous theatrical impresario, Max Reinhardt, for whom he executed stage and costume designs in Salzburg. In the early 1930's he traveled throughout Europe extensively and studied graphics in Germany and Paris. He was employed during this time in the textile industry painting designs for silk fabrics. This is a wonderful piece of floral art by John Haymson. It is signed on bottom right corner. Condition is good could use a little professional cleaning just to brighten it up a bit but looks great like it is. Would make a great addition to your home gallery. In the summer of 1867 Claude Monet stayed with his aunt in Sainte-Adresse, an affluent suburb of the port city of Le Havre in Normandy, where the artist grew up. Monet began the painting outdoors on an overcast day but likely revised the composition in his studio in view of other related canvases, especially the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Regatta at Sainte-Adresse (51.30.4). Technical analysis revealed that what started as a scene of yachts and tourists at the beach ultimately became a view of sailboats and local fishermen. Monet first exhibited this painting at the Impressionist exhibition of 1876, the second of eight independent exhibitions he mounted with a group of like-minded avant-garde artists who sought to present their work outside of France’s traditional, state-sponsored Salon system.
Viktor Shvaiko (or Victor Shvaiko; born 1965) is a Russian artist whose work has been shown in various galleries across the world.[1] He was born in Altai, Russia. He exhibited around Russia up until 1991 where he fled to Italy, through Yugoslavia during the confusion of the civil war there. His forte is in painting cafés from areas around Italy, France and the rest of Europe, with a great sense of lighting and shadows in his evening and morning paintings.

Antonio DeVity (1901–1993, born Umberto Marone[1]) was an Italian painter born in Naples. His life can be described in a few words: a big passion for painting and art and a great love for Paris, the city where his grandmother's family were originally from. He studied at the Liceo d'Arte in Naples and spent a few years in Paris, in a small attic room near Place Saint-Michel. In those years he had the opportunity to attend the “École des beaux arts”, and to appreciate those places that were often represented in his paintings, including Notre Dame, the Café de la Paix and the Moulin Rouge. During his time in Paris he first started using the pseudonym name "Antonio de Vity". This choice along with giving homage to his beloved Paris, contributed to creating an aura of mystery about the painter. After his return to Naples, Umberto founded a School which rapidly became a prestigious Art Studio, which constituted an important meeting place for artists from Southern Italy.
This is a beautiful vintage oil painting has a very realistic look it is just stunning to look at. I couldn't find any information on the artist that signed it, it appears to be signed by Dorothy Shipp. It is an old piece, although I'm not sure how old it would be. Probably before the 1970s. It is big, the frame measures 44" long by 32" wide. Look great in any room of the house. The frame is a perfect match to the painting. Although it could use some professional cleaning and a small amount of restoration, just to help preserve it for many more years of enjoyment. It looks great just like it is now if you do nothing to it.
Vintage southwestern oil painting This is a very old oil painting of a southwestern scene A cowboy with 3 horses riding a desert road. Desperado type scene. It is signed Faith Fox. Appears to have been painted in the early 1960s or before judging by the canvas and stretcher frame. All put together by hand with nails no staples. A beautiful work of art. It does need some restoration work to help preserve it for many more years. It measures 28" long and 24" tall that is the frame size. I have been trying to research this artist but can't find anything on her. But this is a beautiful piece.
